Networking for introverts
You can build a network one good conversation at a time.
A quieter networking playbook with manageable goals, thoughtful questions, and useful follow-up you can practice at your own pace.

Sound familiar?
The conversation was good. Then life happened.
Have you stood outside a busy mixer wondering whether to turn around? You may enjoy getting to know someone and still find a room full of introductions exhausting. You do not have to work the whole room to leave with a relationship worth continuing.
What slips away with the follow-up
Trying to copy the loudest networker can drain the energy you need for an actual conversation. Avoiding every event closes off possibilities too. A manageable plan helps you participate in a way you can repeat, with room to rest afterward.
Put it into practice
A better next step
Choose a smaller goal
Aim for one or two thoughtful conversations. A workshop, volunteer role, or coffee meeting may give you an easier shared starting point than an unstructured crowd.
Prepare a question, then listen
Ask what brought someone there or what they hope to learn. You can contribute through attention and a useful question without delivering a polished pitch.
Finish with a comfortable next step
Offer to share something relevant, exchange details if they want, and leave when you need a break. Write a short note afterward and follow up in your own words.
Where ConnectQR fits
Keep the context. Make the connection.
ConnectQR gives you a simple QR exchange, a place for private context, and help preparing the next message. These are supports for your conversation, not a requirement to become more outgoing. The habits in this guide are free to practice with whatever tools you already use.
A message you can adapt
Give them a reason to reply.
This is my first time at this workshop. What made you choose it? I am hoping to learn how other people handle the follow-up after events.
Illustrative wording. Replace it with the details and promises from your own conversation.
